Hello! My name is Scarlett and I'm the Founder & Owner of SPRUCE.

SPRUCE is a Interior Design Studio & an Online Shoppe of carefully curated homewares, gifts & curiosities.

Long before diving into an online marketplace, I was in the homewares & gift business for many years. First, setting up shop at large annual speciality markets such as the Holiday Markets in Memphis & Germantown, TN.  I offered (just as I do now) unique home accessories, gifts and seasonal goods as well as amazing vintage & antique finds too. Later via brick & mortar shops in multiple locations in NE Florida (where I’ve called home now for over half my life).

From my brick & mortar shops, I’ve also offered design & decorating services to my very loyal shop clientele who had followed along on my journeys over the years of renovating numerous homes (including 7 of my own). Through word of mouth, I found myself involved in just about everything from paint color consultations to window treatment selections to bathroom & kitchen renovations to outdoor living spaces. SO…Interiors & Exteriors!

In 2000, I became a Professionally Trained & Certified Interior Designer. I offer eDesign Services today as well which allows me to help clients virtually throughout the USA. I am a Vacation Rental Design Expert as well (a true passion). I am also a Certified Color Expert (I do LOVE color)! Color can be very complicated therefore LOTS of factors need to be considered. You wouldn’t believe how many Color Consultations I get called in on AFTER the wrong color was initially selected & used by the home owner and/or builder.

PS) Vintage & Antique shopping has been a HUGE part of my life since a VERY young age! I keep a running “must have” list for my clients and pride myself on finding the best quality & price.
